Curriculum

Every child that comes to Taunton Deane Partnership College has a fully personalised curriculum.  We gather as much information as we can from parents/carers, schools, other agencies and the child themselves to try and ensure that the curriculum we put in place is right for that child. On entry we also do assessments and spend time getting to know each student.  As the curriculum diagrams below show, running through everything we do is the SEMH curriculum.  This is the most important part of the work that we do with all our students.  Running alongside that is the core curriculum, additional curriculum and then enrichment.

Here at Taunton Deane Partnership College we have different curriculum pathways to meet the needs of all our students, Primary and Secondary.  We use all information we receive from prior settings, parents, professionals and  the students themselves, alongside assessments to match what we can offer to each individual.

We are in essence a short term provision, although some students remain with us for up to a key stage, so the curriculum is flexible, broad and enriching.
